04/30/04 - Coming Soon to a XX Near You
Watch out boys and girls. Bellas are multiplying. Like some kind of freaky, perky blue, black and pink pedaling pod people, we are taking over your neighborhoods. California, Georgia, Minnesota, Colorado...no one is safe from the hula invasion. Here's how to contact us in your area: Contact Velo Bella.
04/25/04 - Pictures Are Worth A Thousand Words
I don't seem to have time to write up a big "Wasn't Sea Otter Great!" quip. Just take it from me, it was. Don't believe me? Check out the picts.

Do we know how to do Team Support or what? If you saw our booth at Sea Otter, you know what we're talking about. Team Support is much more than a chair, a workstand and a basket of fruit. Its also hula hoops, bubbles, pink beanbags, disco balls, and lots and lots of bella luv. There are of course many people to thank for making our Disco-Hula Hut(patent pending) the happening team place it was. Big juicy bella kisses to all of these great people:

04/09/04 - Speaking of Sea Otter
Last year at Sea Otter, we had the honor of watching our own Shelly
Whisenhant ride to a podium finish in the Pro MTB race. This year we have 5 MTB pros competing in the Stage Race, an elite team
competing in the Road Stage Race, and about 30 other women competing in the amateur road, mountain bike and downhill events. Look for us, cheer for us! Those bella cheers we get are the best, keep em coming. So serious about that.
We also have a booth in the Team Area #517. Way in the back by the bridge, because the Sea Otter folks like to hide us. But I have a feeling you won't miss us, just look for the Stingray, bubbles and hula hoops. Come find us and say hi. Stay awhile and party with us too if you'd like, because its not always just about the racing...
And no! We will not be volunteering and watching children crawll in and out of a butt in the inflatable pizza this year.
04/08/04 - Hungry? Going to Sea Otter?
The Sea Otter Classic is a hometown race for us. We welcome everyone to our humble abode. And, we have a little gift for all of our visitors. Just for you, for checking us out. How sweet are we? Check out our special guide to the super secret dining spots in the Monterey area with the Bella Kitty Rating System (PDF 171K). Yummy! (Even though Baldemiro's only got 3 Kitties, take it from me, this place kicks ass for carne asada)
Flash! I just got news of another gift for Monterey visitors! Check out our beautiful maps of rides in the area just posted. Damn we are swell.
04/05/04 - Clothing Has Arrived
Amidst much shipping chaos (Fed Ex Ground Sucks!!) and April Fools foolery (Bellas are so gullible), our clothing order has arrived. Much of the stuff is proudly spoken for, but there are a few extra jerseys. Email me RIGHT NOW if interested. We will be selling them at Sea Otter too, so come find us and get one while they're hot.
04/03/04 - Bellas Do Downhill?
We overheard this during the TWW Groovy Gravity Games
as Ann Cigan convincingly won the Expert Women's race in flashy bella style. YES, we do downhill! Duh. Nothing cooler than a chick decked out in our girly duds hitting jumps and railing berms:
Allie Rau - Pro
Ann Cigan - Expert
Dolly Silviera - Beginner
04/02/04 - Redlands Review
Our mighy bella squad has just returned from Redlands, where they won the hearts of Inland Empire boys everywhere they went. The 909 may never be the same again. We were happy to welcome new Bella, Hiroko Shimada. Hiroko will be attempting to make the Olympic team for Japan. Congrats to Hiroko for finishing 24th overall.
Joinng Hiroko in Redlands were Gabriela, Christine, Liz and Judy. And big sloppy bella kisses to Sam and Rene for helping the gals out. And yes Sam, you may be a little skinnier and shorter, but you are our HERO.
04/01/04 - April Fools
To all those who believed my preposterous April Fools joke, I am sorry.
Well, no I'm not.
