06/01/03 - NCNCA District TT Championships
Since I lagged and am writing this late, I can tell you that a bella, Andi, won!!
06/07/03 - Wheels of Thunder Criterium
Again, this event already happened by the time I wrote this. So why dont you go here and read Tracies funny race report about it instead.
06/07-08/03 - Everest Challenge CA Hillclimb Championships
This is an event for freaks. 30,000 feet of climbing in 2 days! I can only
ask&Why? Laura calls it Never-rest Challenge. Oh yeah, and a bella, Ginger, won.
06/14-15/03 - Humboldt Redwood MTB Races
A Billycross racing event, in the redwoods along the Eel River Basin. Man, thats sounds like fun.
06/14/03 - Reno Jackpot Criterium
A crit for all the categories that dont get to race at Nez. Sort of like a
sideshow act of juniors, really old guys and women.
06/14/03 - Tour De Nez
Im sorry, but is it soooo hard to include a race for women? Theres a
category for 30+ 1,2,3. Cant most of those guys race the Men Pro,1,2 event?
06/15/03 - Nevada City Classic
This is such a cool race. Even if you dont plan on racing, come up, take a nice mountain bike ride, and then watch the action as the racers climb up and back down the quaint town of Nevada City.
06/15/03 - Skyline Park MTB Race
Race on the site of the old Napa World Cup, Skyline Park. Amazingly fun trails are found all over this park. Just be nice to the horse people.
06/15/03 - Race Across America
Event with the advent of 24 hour solo mountain bike racing and that Alps and Rockies challenge thing, this is still the granddaddy of freakish events.
06/21/03 - Dunlap Memorial Time Trial
Also the site of the NCNCA Junior Time Trial Championships. Its a time
trial, so thats all I really have to write about it.
06/22/03 - Monta Vista Velo Criterium
A crit! Ill take that over a time trial anyday!
06/27-29/03 - Downieville Gathering
3 days of riding in the incredible Downieville area hosted by our own Suzy and Jed. Be sure to email Jed and ask him lots of dumb questions. He likes that.
06/28/03 - Terrible Two Century
200 miles and 16,500 feet of climbing up, down and around Sonoma County.
06/28/03 - 12 Hours of Humboldt
Someone must have proclaimed June Race in Humbold month. Too bad I cant go. Someone go and bring me back a Tshirt.
06/28/03 - Pescadero Coastal Classic
Okay, even us non-climbers enjoy this race. Who can pass up beautiful
scenery, fast fun descents, the flamingo house and a steaming warm yummy loaf of artichoke bread? Definitely a VEO BELLA Hot date!!
06/29/03 - Burlingame Criterium
Get back at all those Peskydero climbers by ripping their legs off at this
fun technical crit.
06/29/03 - NCNCA Junior Track Championships
If we tell kids the track is almost like BMX, will more of them come?
