Who are the Velo Bella Downhillers?
We are a commited group of four women who love to race big bikes down steep rocky nasty terrain. We love what we do and have a great time doing it whether it be racing Nationals, or riding and cheering along side a future DH Bella in a kid’s race.
We are racers, doctors, city planners, web designers, communications specialists, technology developers, wives, and daughters.
We want every woman to know that there’s no age limit, no such thing as “settling down”, and that every day women in main-stream society are underneath all that padding and gear. We believe to have found the fountain of youth and that a girl doesn’t quit riding because she gets old, a girl gets old because she quits riding.
